Whyrl - script writer

Whyrl is a twenty-something Australian software engineer who happens to be a fiercely loyal supporter of New Zealand sports teams. (Having been born and raised in the land of the long white cloud for over a decade is purely incidental.) He wrote a number of short stories for an Australian fanzine (all of which are posted on his personal website) but all motivation to write left when the 'zine publication went south (literally). He has a lot ideas for one or two novels and may even get them down on paper someday. Honest. He claims not to be quite so shiny- and candy-obsessed in real life but he's not fooling anyone.

Rose is a 21 year old American Freelance artist living in Australia. She is currently working towards permanent residency in Australia, and is actually the partner of Stephen in real life as well. She is technically the owner of Flea and Ronin as she is the one who is in charge of their food, and other unmentionables. =P Rose has been drawing her entire life, and specifically furry art for the last four years or so. This is her second attempt at a comic, but the first never became available to the public on a constant basis because of a lack of wit and writing skills. Hopefully with the help of the punny and bird-brained Whyrl, this comic will be a bit more successful.

Out of all the residents of Sanctuary, Stephen is the only one who was actually born in Australia. Despite this, it doesn't stop him from thinking the others belong here :)He is 24 year old geek, recently out of university and searching for the meaning of life - he hasn't found it yet. His working experience has been mostly in data communications, and most of his interests lie here. While he hasn't done much web coding for public consumption, he's hoping this comic will help him learn a bit more, and at least be fun. He fits in with the locals by sharing their shiny (tm) obsession, though for cruiser/touring style motorcycles instead of the usual bling™. He also has an almost obsessive like for quite a few different styles of music, and always has a song in his head, which he's usually humming, much to the others' annoyance.
